Theodore Presser Company is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to assist with all aspects of supply and inventory management logistics for the Production Department. This position is available on full time or part time basis and is based in our Malvern office.

Join our Supply Chain and Inventory team
The supply and inventory team is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s print inventory, from purchasing, printing, and assembly, to warehousing, shipping, and receiving. Spanning several departments in both our Malvern and New York offices, the supply and inventory team is a dynamic environment where flexibility is key in order to ensure communication and efficiency throughout all steps in the process. From perennial bestsellers to new favorites, the supply and inventory team has a hand in the success of every item that both Theodore Presser and Carl Fischer publish.
Responsibilities:
- Run daily inventory report and update current inventory levels
- Run monthly purchase order status and purchase receipt reports
- Run monthly sales report and update YTD sales numbers
- Compile packing lists for weekly shipments
- Compile reprint information and submit for print approval
- Create and submit purchase orders to printers
- Serve as liaison for internal print shop, warehouse, and customer service department
- Process data for inventory receipts
- Process daily and weekly inventory adjustments in the WMS system
- Process print invoices to be submitted to accounting
- Verify and update inventory data for newly created products
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Experience in music or book publishing or in purchasing department a strong plus but not required
- Strong analytical and MS Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Proactive and creative problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Music background or knowledge is highly preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with multitasking and with learning new systems and processes
Compensation will depend upon prior experience. Excellent benefits package offered after 3 months of employment.
