Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects. This dynamic role involves managing teams, coordinating construction schedules, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring on-site safety compliance. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction management experience, strong leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, safety regulations, and project execution. Duties

Lead and manage mechanical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents to accurately interpret project requirements.
Coordinate construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including pipelines, HVAC units, and other heavy equipment.
Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and services meet project standards and deadlines.
Oversee on-site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a focus on mechanical systems.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules effectively.
Supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment with excellent crew management skills.
Familiarity with federal and local construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Hands-on experience with construction site activities including blueprint reading, quality control inspections, and safety compliance.
Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and managing construction budgets.
