THE HONEST PITCH

We're not looking for someone who learned to sell and then learned the gear. We're looking for the opposite — someone who knows the gear and is ready to do something different with that knowledge.

If you've spent years running sonar, processing bathymetry, or operating survey launches and unmanned vessels — and you're starting to think about getting off the water — this was written for you. (GPS/GNSS or LiDAR experience a plus)

At AGS (Anatum GeoMobile Solutions), we sell engineering-grade hydrographic and bathymetric equipment to hydrographic surveyors, dredging contractors, port authorities, USACE district survey crews, reservoir and dam operators, and engineering firms. Our customers are technical. They ask hard questions. They can tell the difference between someone who has actually used the equipment and someone reading off a spec sheet.

That's why we hire from the field. It's worked for us since day one.

THE EQUIPMENT SEGMENTS

You don't need to know all three. Deep expertise in one is enough to get started.

ECHOSOUNDERS

Single-beam (SBES) & Multibeam (MBES) bathymetric systems

Side-scan / Sub-bottom

Seabed imaging, hazard detection, sediment profiling

USV / ASV Platforms

Unmanned survey vessels, autonomous bathymetry, mission planning

WHO YOU MIGHT BE

Your current title probably looks something like one of these:

Hydrographic Surveyor

Running MBES or SBES on launches, coordinating crew, managing data on coastal or inland projects

Dredging Survey Tech

Pre- and post-dredge bathymetry, volumetric calculations, working alongside contractors and inspectors

USV / ASV Operator

Operating unmanned survey vessels, mission planning, autonomous data collection in shallow or restricted water

Inland / Reservoir Survey Tech

Reservoir capacity surveys, river bathymetry, dam and spillway proximity work, sediment monitoring

You don't need a sales background. You need to know what it feels like to run this equipment in real conditions — and be able to talk through that experience with customers who are in the same shoes you were.
