Job Overview

Roman Austin Car Accident & Personal Injury Lawyers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk / Legal Intern to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a current law student, college student interested in attending law school, recent college graduate planning to apply to law school, or someone pursuing a career in the legal field.

Working alongside our attorneys and legal team, you will gain hands-on experience in plaintiff's personal injury law while assisting with case preparation, legal research, and day-to-day litigation support. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, highly organized, and excited to build a strong foundation in the legal profession.

This position is available on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Assist with drafting pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
Organize and maintain client files, medical records, and case documents
Assist with trial preparation, discovery, and litigation support
Review and summarize medical records and other case-related materials
Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and court personnel
Assist attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day case management
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed to support the litigation team

Qualifications

Current law school student
Current college student interested in attending law school, or
Recent college graduate planning to apply to law school, or
Individual pursuing a career in the legal field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Previous legal internship or office experience is a plus, but not required
Interest in plaintiff's personal injury litigation
Strong research and writing abilities
Ability to learn new technology and legal software quickly
Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative
