From Vascular and Interventional Radiology to Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Neuroradiology, and Whole-Body Imaging, our radiologists are highly trained to diagnose—and in many cases, treat—a wide range of health conditions using minimally invasive methods.

Position: Patient Navigator – Hereditary Cancer Testing

Location: Pembroke Pines, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm EST, weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time | In - Person

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; Creole is preferred!!

About the Role

As a Patient Navigator specializing in Hereditary Cancer Testing, you will support patients through critical stages of their diagnostic journey. You will be based in Pembroke Pines, FL providing education, coordinating care, and assisting with phlebotomy. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure a seamless, supportive, and professional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide education and support for high-risk patients undergoing genetic testing.
Register patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
Build trust and confidence with patients by explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
Perform blood draws and specimen collection with accuracy and professionalism (~5–10% of role, with potential to expand).
Accurately verify and label patient specimens at the time of collection.
Maintain documentation, patient records, and uphold HIPAA compliance.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
Collaborate with the clinical team and area supervisor to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Serve as a key patient contact, embodying HALO’s commitment to precision care and early detection.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $24-27 per hour (based on experience and location)
