Full Job Description

Part-Time Pain Management Physician

Outpatient – Florida | One Day per Week | No Nights or Weekends

We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our established outpatient practice 1 day per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values patient-centered care, collaborative teamwork, and a flexible schedule.

In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated clinical team to provide comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing medication management for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and diagnostic assessment
Develop and implement personalized pain management treatment plans, including chronic medication management
Coordinate referrals to specialists when clinically appropriate
Collaborate closely with nursing and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
Educate patients on treatment options and long-term pain management strategies

Qualifications

Residency or Fellowship in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or a closely related field or prior experience in a pain management setting
Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License
Active Florida DEA registration
Demonstrated experience in medication management and pain treatment modalities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
