Full Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Area

**Work arrangement:** Full-time, onsite five days per week

**Compensation:** Approximately $130,000 base salary plus a 10% annual bonus

Position Overview

A market-leading, acquisition-driven provider of equipment, chemicals, technology, and services for the vehicle-care industry is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and strengthen its recruiting function.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance recruiting execution with team management, workforce planning, analytics, and long-term talent strategy. The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead a team of three recruiters while personally managing executive, senior-level, and difficult-to-fill searches.

The organization has grown through more than 20 acquisitions and continues to expand its manufacturing, technology, finance, sales, and operational capabilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, working with evolving systems and processes, and thoughtfully improving the recruiting function after developing a strong understanding of the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, coach, and develop a team of three recruiters, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and consistent recruiting practices.

* Remain hands-on with executive, senior-leadership, confidential, and difficult-to-fill searches.

* Partner with executives, HR business partners, hiring managers, and business leaders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.

* Support workforce and headcount planning across corporate, manufacturing, technology, finance, sales, and operational functions.

* Manage recruiter workloads and requisition assignments in a high-volume environment.

* Establish and monitor recruiting service levels, productivity standards, and performance expectations.

* Develop dashboards and executive reporting covering time to fill, requisition aging, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, candidate pipelines, recruiter capacity, and other critical metrics.

* Analyze recruiting data to identify trends, determine root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

* Use Excel, including pivot tables and related analytical tools, to evaluate recruiting performance and prepare leadership reports.

* Improve sourcing strategies for executive, specialized, professional, and operational positions.

* Strengthen relationships with candidates and hiring managers through timely, transparent communication.

* Develop recruiting procedures, interview guides, training materials, and hiring-manager resources.

* Promote consistent and legally compliant selection and documentation practices.

* Optimize the use of iCIMS while helping the organization prepare for a potential future transition to Workday.

* Evaluate and introduce responsible uses of AI and recruiting automation while preserving appropriate human judgment and candidate privacy.

* Manage external recruiting vendors and agency relationships when needed.

* Support employer-branding, talent-pipeline, internal-mobility, and process-improvement initiatives.

* Contribute to the thoughtful integration of recruiting practices across acquired businesses.

* Handle confidential candidate and business information with discretion.

Required Qualifications

* Completed bachelor’s degree.

* Substantial progressive experience in corporate talent acquisition or recruiting.

* Previous formal people-management experience with direct responsibility for recruiters or sourcers.

* Demonstrated success coaching and developing recruiting professionals.

* Hands-on experience managing full-cycle searches.

* Experience personally recruiting executives, senior leaders, or other difficult-to-fill positions.

* Strong workforce-planning, headcount-planning, or recruiting-capacity experience.

* Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and present recruiting metrics and dashboards.

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.

* Experience working with an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS, Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Lever, or SmartRecruiters.

* Ability to communicate effectively with executives, hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates.

* Sound judgment, discretion, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.

* Willingness and ability to work onsite in Tamarac five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

* Talent acquisition leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial products, automotive, chemicals, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or another operationally complex environment.

* Experience supporting both corporate and plant or field-based hiring.

* Experience working in an acquisition-driven, private-equity-backed, rapidly growing, or transforming organization.

* Experience integrating or standardizing recruiting practices following acquisitions.

* Familiarity with iCIMS and Workday Recruiting.

* Experience using Power BI or another reporting and visualization platform.

* Knowledge of responsible AI applications in sourcing, recruiting, and process automation.

* Experience managing executive-search firms, staffing agencies, and other recruiting vendors.

* Experience recruiting across technology, engineering, finance, sales, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and senior leadership.

The successful candidate will be a practical and approachable leader who can establish credibility with recruiters, hiring managers, and executives. This person should be comfortable listening and learning before recommending major changes, communicating candidly and diplomatically, and maintaining composure in a demanding environment.

The ideal leader will bring structure without unnecessary rigidity, hold the team accountable while remaining supportive, and balance strategic thinking with a willingness to personally handle challenging searches.

* Base salary targeted around $130,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
