Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, and excellent food preparation and handling skills. This role requires commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Provide support to dietary aides when preparing special meals for guests with dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Proficiency in food preparation, including knife skills and cooking methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes.
A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
