Full Job Description

Inventory Control Clerk - Food Processing

Dutch American Foods is a privately owned dry blending and packaging company with manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Beecher and Crete, Illinois. We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and responsible individuals to join our team.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
General math skills.
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
Ability to work 9-10 hours (lifting, stacking, standing, etc...) This is a hands-on position working in warehouse and production areas counting and reconciling inventory.
Possess leadership, teamwork, time management and good communication skills.
Follow safety rules/regulations, company policies and food safety/quality procedures.
Knowledge with computers, Word, Excel, etc.
Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts
Have (3) or more years of experience working in Inventory Control, preferably in food processing or similar FDA/USDA regulated industries.

Position Overview:
· Perform daily inventory cycle counts.
· Breakdown/restack pallets.
· Organize warehouse and maintain cleanliness of work area.
· Receive all inbound material shipments and perform data entry into ERP system.
· Communicate with customers via email.
· Conduct Quarterly and Annual inventory counts.
· Conduct Saturday cycle counts, approximately 20-25 Saturday per year.
· Conduct duties in an environmentally responsible manner.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-Time
1st Shift Mon – Fri: (6:00am – 4:00pm)

Hourly Rate:
$19/hour......or more depending on skills, ability and experience.
