Full Job Description

ARCO Marine, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor of OEM quality marine rotating electrical parts and accessories. We deliver peace of mind to boat/recreational vehicle owners and mechanics who rely on the quality and performance of our parts. ARCO Marine is a purpose driven company with a team of problem solvers who like to do it right and are in it together.

ARCO is looking for an experienced operations leader to maintain and optimize our current day-to-day operations. This person will own all systems operations initiatives within the company. This position will own all company procedures to ensure we operate efficiently and are continuously improving. Someone who is analytical and is a naturally inquisitive person will excel in this role. Humble, hungry, and smart would describe the ideal candidate for this role and is a requirement to be a part of the ARCO leadership team. Having a “can-do” attitude and evidence of being a self-starter in all things business related is a must for this position.

Job Duties:

· Own all systems and procedural operations of the company.

· Consistently build upon and create new standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance our efficiencies.

· Ensure the highest level of accuracy for the data in our system. This includes keeping inventory, sales order, purchase order, and bill of materials information updated with the proper practices in place.

· Conduct cost-benefit analyses of large capital purchases or other financially impacting decisions.

· Become an expert in material resources planning, leveraging our ERP system, Acumatica.

· Work closely with accounting, warehouse, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure quality products are delivered in a timely manner.

· Create meaningful sales and operations reports for company stakeholders.

· Lead operations meetings and weekly huddles with company personnel.

· Perform root-cause analysis and provide solutions for issues that arise in various departments.

· Become the in-house subject matter expert of our ERP, technical support, and other software.

· Assist the HR team in championing our company culture and build personal relationships with all employees.

· Perform employee reviews and evaluations.

· Lead hiring and interview initiatives for the company.

· Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years’ experience in a supply chain or operations leadership role.

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Experience aligning international shipments with or without the assistance of 3PLs.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills i.e.: VLOOKUP functions, pivot tables, etc.
Proven critical thinking and analysis skills through cost-benefit analysis situations.

· Previous ERP and MRP experience a plus.

· Prior experience in the automotive/marine industry or manufacturing setting a plus.
