Full Job Description

Project Manager

Petro-Pier | “We Wear Boots”

Petro-Pier a national deep foundation contractor built by craftsmen from the field who believed there was a better way to build foundations: safer, smarter, and with people who take pride in their work. From Oil & Gas to Solar, BESS, Data Centers, Crypto Mines and Industrial Facilities, we design, engineer, and install innovative steel geo-structures across the country.

We’re currently looking for a Project Manager who is ready to take ownership, work shoulder-to-shoulder with field crews, and help deliver Solid foundations with Solid people.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll manage foundation and mechanical projects from early planning through closeout—keeping safety first, costs controlled, schedules realistic, and clients confident.

You Will:

Build and organize project plans with guidance from Senior PMs and Operations
Coordinate daily project execution with Assistant PMs, Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews
Serve as a key point of contact during client discussions, scope reviews, and project execution
Coordinate with Suppliers, Subcontractors and Engineers.
Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate scopes and project estimates
Set clear project goals, procedures, quality expectations, and performance standards
Manage change-orders from identification through negotiation and final approval
Track schedules, manpower, equipment, and costs—adjusting quickly when conditions change
Oversee project financials including billing, rentals, cost tracking, and monthly reporting
Submit compliance reports to governing agencies and unions.
Review and approve project documentation before it goes out the door
Represent Petro-Pier professionally in meetings with clients, engineers, and partners
Step in and help solve problems when the job needs a fixer—not an excuse

This role supports multiple smaller-to-mid-size projects or a portion of a larger project, with strong mentorship and oversight as you grow.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Experience with Procore, Dili AI, or LCP Tracker is a plus.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
3+ years of construction project management experience
Experience in Deep Foundations, Energy, Heavy Civil, or Industrial Construction is highly valued
A mindset that says “we’ll figure it out and get it done right”

Travel & Work Environment

Up to 25% travel, primarily to active job sites
Mix of office and field work
Physical demands include walking job sites, climbing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working in variable conditions
