Position Summary

The Original Montana Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to grow within a dynamic hospitality environment. The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations, guest services, and internal communication, reporting directly to the Director of Experiences and collaborating with the General Manager and Food & Beverage Director.

Essential Job Functions

Contribute to social media and internal communications to help maintain a polished and engaging presence for the club.
Provide administrative support including data entry, handling paperwork, basic bookkeeping, and errands (e.g., post office runs).
Assist with operations across both the Rathskeller and the Second Floor Members-Only Lounge, upholding a high standard of service and hospitality.
Serve as bookkeeper for categorizing bands/musicians by genre, and ensuring performances align with the club’s brand.
Must be cross-trained to serve as Garden Room host in case of staffing emergencies.
Demonstrate flexibility by stepping in to assist other departments as needed, including cleaning, tidying event spaces, and supporting staff during peak service times.
Take responsibility for cleaning and organizing office and club spaces to ensure a professional, welcoming environment.
Maintain professionalism under shifting schedules and operational demands, adapting quickly to last-minute changes.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests, making a point to learn names and build genuine rapport to enhance the club experience.

Preferred Skills & Background

Experience in hospitality, event coordination, or club operations
Basic social media skills (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Strong eye for branding, tone, and visual marketing
Comfortable using a computer, email, and basic office software
Confident communicator with strong social skills
Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle changing priorities
Organized and detail-oriented, especially with scheduling and vendor coordination
Interest in music, food, and community events is a plus
Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods during events
Frequently move furniture and equipment as needed
Perform light cleaning duties such as vacuuming and tidying
Ability to lift and carry moderate weight items safely
Must also be able to sit for long periods of time
