Senior Accountant — Rentaload USA
Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati, OH metro)
$87,805 – $118,795

Help build the finance backbone of a fast-growing critical power company.

Rentaload USA rents and services load bank and critical power equipment that keeps data centers, hospitals, and other essential facilities running when it matters most. We're growing quickly, and we're looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to help build the processes and controls that will carry this company through its next stage of growth, not just close the books.

This isn't a role where you'll get lost in a large, siloed finance department. You'll own real ground: fixed assets, reconciliations, sales tax compliance, job costing, and audit support. You'll have the latitude to solve problems your way, and the visibility to make sure the right people see the impact.

What you'll do

Own the fixed asset ledger and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and train others to do them well
Prepare and review journal entries, including the complex ones that need real judgment
Monitor cash flow and support job costing so the business always knows where it stands
Manage sales tax compliance across multiple states
Lead preparation and documentation for annual audits
Build Excel tools that automate the reporting grind so the team can focus on higher-value work
Mentor accounting staff and help level up the team as we scale

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, plus 8+ years of progressive accounting experience (CPA or CPA candidate a plus)
Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and building tools that save people time
Hands-on experience with fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations
Multi-state sales tax compliance experience
Experience supporting audits, including knowing what auditors ask for and how to get it to them fast
Comfortable working independently and making sound calls without someone looking over your shoulder
Bonus points for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience, job costing, or cash flow analysis
Able to explain the numbers to people who don't live in a spreadsheet all day
