Full Job Description

Growing Fort Myers law firm is seeking a full-time receptionist. Must have a minimum of two (2) years or equivalent work experience. The candidate is responsible for handling both back and front office responsibilities and has direct client and vendor contact.

Office Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with a daily lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm.

Applicant must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Applicant must have high school diploma with a minimum of one (1) year of experience directly servicing the legal industry, including experience with:

· Microsoft Office 365, primarily Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat;

· Exemplary organizational skills, keen attention to detail, strong client service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure;

· Ability to multi-task, exercise logical and proactive thinking and set priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and

· The ability to maintain confidentially for all clients and data, which are an integral part of the position.

The ideal candidate will:

· Achieve a consistently high standard of client / team service and leadership;

· Be a proactive self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision;

· Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment;

· Can easily converse with current and potential clients and make them feel welcome, both in person and on the telephone;

· Demonstrates resourcefulness, flexibility, patience and care when working with our elderly clients and clients with special needs; and

· Most importantly, fit into our team-focused culture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Applicant will have the following responsibilities as they work directly with the office manager, attorneys, and staff to manage the various needs of our clients:

· Communicating directly with clients by phone, e-mail, and formal correspondence;

· Call and message handling, including client credit card processing;

· Calendaring and scheduling appointments, events, and in-house meetings;

· Information and record gathering by phone, e-mail, or letter;

· Reviewing, organizing, filing, scanning and shredding of documents and files;

· Providing general administrative duties to support the office manager and helping attorneys and staff with client projects, as needed; and

· Performing other duties as assigned by the office manager or attorneys.

· Commensurate with experience.

Requirements
