Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed.
Develop new beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events if applicable.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or restaurant experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience processing cash transactions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations; experience with banquet or catering service is a plus.
Strong communication skills; previous bar management or hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
