Full Job Description

This is a full-time position supporting ongoing projects. Work locations and assignments may vary based on customer needs and project schedules.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Tanker Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and professionally transporting and delivering materials to customer locations and farm sites while following dispatch instructions, company policies, and established safety standards.

Our drivers are an important part of our operation and are expected to represent the company professionally while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, communication, and dependable service.

Tanker Driver – Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a tanker truck and trailer in accordance with company policies, DOT regulations, and established safety procedures.
Safely transport and unload tanker loads while following all company unloading procedures and customer/site requirements.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of both the truck and trailer and promptly report any safety, maintenance, or equipment concerns.
Accurately document load counts, deliveries, and unloading information for each dispatched load.
Complete all required paperwork, load tickets, logs, and company documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain clear and professional communication with manager regarding load status, delays, equipment issues, or site conditions.
Verify equipment and unloading connections are properly secured before beginning the unloading process.
Follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while loading and unloading.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional truck and trailer.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, dispatchers, facility personnel, and the public.
Make safety the priority at all times and immediately report unsafe conditions or concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience as a commercial truck driver, specifically with tractor-trailers or tanker trucks
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations
Experience driving tanker is preferred
Strong understanding of tanker loading/unloading procedures
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance on over-the-road routes
Ability to work independently in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
