Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct administrative support and oversight for the daily human resources operations of the organization, including both Grouse Hunt Farms (PA) and Bryant Preserving (AR). This position focuses on transactional and compliance-related HR activities, including onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, employee separations, time & attendance management and payroll processing. The role requires regular interaction with employees and strict adherence to confidentiality, accuracy, and established procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including:
- Prepare and process new hire paperwork, including I-9, W-4, state tax forms, and policy acknowledgments
- Conduct or coordinate new hire orientation covering company policies, procedures, and benefit enrollment
- Enter new hire information accurately and timely into HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems
- Coordinate with managers and operations to ensure readiness for new employees including scheduling and training.
· Offboarding and Employee Separations
- Prepare final paycheck coordination and last of employment administration in compliance with federal and state wage laws
- Conduct or schedule exit interviews and document feedback
- Process benefits terminations and COBRA notifications as applicable
- Update HRIS, payroll, and access systems and ensure return of company property
- Maintain and archive separation documentation in accordance with record retention requirements
· Benefits and HR Administration
- Coordinate employee benefit enrollments, changes, and answer questions as needed
- Administer benefit events such as open enrollment, qualifying life events, and vendor coordination
- Maintain accurate personnel files and records in compliance with legal and company requirements
- Track employee status changes, leaves of absence, attendance records, and timekeeping documentation
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
· Compliance and General Support
- Support compliance with record keeping standards, wage and hour laws, and other employment law requirements
- Maintain required labor law postings and employee acknowledgments
- Assist with HR audits, reporting, and data requests
- Track required trainings, certifications, and safety acknowledgments
- Perform other administrative HR duties as assigned
· Timekeeping & Payroll processing
- Review timecards for any anomalies and prepare for payroll processing
- Lock timecards and submit payroll runs for management approval
- Provide relevant payroll reports to the accounting team
- Coordinate reporting of hours worked, including overtime reports

- Incumbent will operate in an office setting and manufacturing facility, and be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device for extended periods of time, and office machinery as needed.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position; typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Incumbent may need to work outside core operating hours as requested. Occasional travel may be required.
Education, Certification(s), and/or License(s) Required:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in an office environment providing administrative services, with a working knowledge of general human resources concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with payroll, HRIS, and Human Capital Management software preferred.
- Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including basic working knowledge of Excel required.
