Positions open for 2nd shift Sheet Metal Grinder Fabricator. (2:30 PM - 11 PM)

In this role you will:

· Set up and operate stud welder and spot welder

· Operate small power tools such as buffers and grinders

· Utilizes other pneumatic tools to prepare stainless steel sheet metal chambers used in production of commercial cooking equipment.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operates hand grinder/sander to smooth and finish sheet metal surfaces

· Cleans/treats surfaces after finishing when required.

· Performs routine adjustments on all equipment operated to ensure continued conformance to specifications.

· Records production and quality assurance data, part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and inspection measurements/results, on designated forms, tags, charts, or records

· Immediately notifies supervisor of any discrepancies regarding product, equipment, work instructions, or records.

· Performs all job activities in accordance with training, work instructions, and established company procedures.

· Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, grip and/or squeeze.

· The employee is frequently required to talk and hear and is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
