Full Job Description

GST Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing precision-machined parts. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Set up and operate Fadal CNC milling machines.
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
Select tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for efficient production.
Inspect first article and finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Meet quality standards and production deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
Hands-on experience with Fadal CNC machines is a plus.
Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
Ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
