Job Title: Kitchen Manager – Upscale Rodizio-Style Pizza Restaurant

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

We’re an upscale, rodizio-style pizza concept offering a vibrant, high-energy dining experience that merges table-side service with gourmet, wood-fired pizzas and refined small plates. We take pride in our commitment to quality ingredients, seamless service, and a lively, guest-focused atmosphere.

Position Overview:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for leading all back-of-house operations, including food preparation, quality control, staff management, and coordination with front-of-house leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong culinary knowledge, refined presentation standards, and the ability to manage pace and precision in a dynamic service model.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth execution of rodizio-style service and consistent food quality
Train, schedule, and lead kitchen team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
Maintain high standards of food presentation, taste, and portion consistency across all menu offerings
Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relations to ensure availability of premium ingredients while controlling costs
Oversee food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health department and company standards
Collaborate with ownership on seasonal menu development and innovation
Monitor prep, cook line, and plating efficiency during peak service periods
Track and analyze kitchen labor, waste, and COGS to drive continuous improvement
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in working order
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for BOH staff

Qualifications

1=2 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in an upscale, high-volume restaurant environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage fast-paced service with exceptional quality and consistency
Deep understanding of scratch cooking, artisanal pizza dough, and premium ingredient handling
Food safety certification required (ServSafe or equivalent)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
bilingual preferred but not required
