TranSpec Fasteners seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead our Fort Worth facility.

TranSpec Fasteners is looking for a General Manager to work onsite in Fort Worth, reporting to the Executive Vice President. The General Manager is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, facilities, and record keeping, and driving improvement through leadership and support of department managers, troubleshooting KPIs and workflows, spotlighting successes, and investigating failures.

Here’s what you will be doing:

Regulatory compliance & reporting, including corporate, customer, governmental, international, industry, ISO9001/AS9100/AS9120; cybersecurity, CUI safeguarding, NIST 800-171; environmental impact reporting; safety and facility management; records control and retention policy and plan.
Directly responsible for overseeing departments of Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Purchasing, Material Control, and Quality Systems.
Facilities administration and management, including building and equipment maintenance and repair, furniture, workstation need fulfillment, safety protocols and standards; records control and retention.
Continual operations improvement, including monitoring KPIs, metrics, and evaluating productivity, and identifying areas for improvement; inventory accuracy, contract tracking, minimum stock, dead stock; inventory process flow and storage efficiency, identification, protection; internal forms, process tracking, and record creation; discrepancy analysis and corrective action; workflow analysis and optimization.
Staff leadership, management, and support, including development of managers, job descriptions, policies, and objectives, and hiring and training processes in collaboration with HR, and measurement and reporting on performance. Act as an interdepartmental liaison and facilitate group collaboration for policy, purpose, and procedural alignment. Recognize successes and address performance failures.

5 years minimum Operations Management experience
DFARS & FAR compliance reporting experience
Quality Systems, ISO or AS, experience
Cross-department collaboration experience
Project coordination experience
KPI, metrics, and output analysis experience
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Experience parsing legalistic documents
Conflict management experience
