Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring efficient production and maintaining high-quality output. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, while contributing to innovative manufacturing projects. Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance.
Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, including Fanuc controls, to produce complex parts accurately.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise machining.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machines like CNC milling machines or CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding processes, welding techniques, and assembly procedures is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and basic machine maintenance.
Valid certification or training in Fanuc controls or other CNC control systems preferred.
