Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of a long-term care facility. This vital role requires a passionate leader who is committed to providing exceptional senior care while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, healthcare financial acumen, and extensive experience in nursing home administration. Duties

Lead the overall operation of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality resident care and adherence to state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
Supervise and manage care facility teams, including nursing staff, administrative personnel, and support staff, promoting a positive team culture through effective leadership.
Ensure compliance with health regulation policies, licensing requirements, and safety standards across all operations.
Supporting the implementation with community agencies for disability services and home & community care programs to support residents’ needs.
Ensure accurate documentation related to resident records, incident reports, care plans, and regulatory compliance.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in assisted living and residential care home management.

Experience

Requirements: NY State Nursing Home Administrator license, bachelor’s degree or higher, 2 – 3 years leadership experience in long term care/ health care.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or residential care settings.
Familiarity with healthcare financial management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning.
knowledge of CMS regulations, budgeting and quality improvement processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes.
Prior leadership roles in nursing leadership or executive management within a group home or retirement home setting are preferred.
Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and health regulation policies to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.

Brooklyn United Methodist Church Home Corp., a not-for-profit Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced, dynamic and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to provide leadership for our facility. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations, managing financial performance and fostering a culture focused on quality care and employee excellence.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
