Full Job Description

A well-established downtown Nashville law firm is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Paralegal with years of experience to join our PI team.

Qualified candidates seeking a long-term opportunity with a respected Nashville law firm are encouraged to apply. We are looking for a dedicated professional who takes pride in their work, values, client relationships, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Essential Qualities Desired:

Minimum 2 years experience as a personal injury paralegal
Thorough knowledge of the litigation process, rules of procedure, and court operations
Experience with state and federal electronic filing systems, as well as paper filing procedures in small jurisdictions
Strong experience organizing and managing case files, including medical records, billing records, and financial documentation
Excellent written and verbal communicaiton skills
Experience assisting attorney during court hearings, depositions, and trials
Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, build trust, and guide them through the litigation process
Experience negotiating medical and other liens
Ability to review, organize, summarize, and analyze client medical records and medical billing
Strong work ethic and pride in producing high quality work
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
Ability to assist with initial case screening when needed
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and attorney needs
Ability to draft professional correspondence to courts, opposing counsel, clients, medical providers, and others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems
Willingness to work occasional overtime as workload demands

Education: Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred.
