As part of a well-established national brand, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both our guests and our team. We are currently seeking a motivated, experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and drive salon success.

Position Summary

The Salon Manager is responsible for overseeing daily salon operations, leading and developing the team, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales and performance goals. This role combines leadership, business management, and hands-on salon expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, hire, train, and coach stylists and front desk staff
Foster a positive, team-oriented salon culture
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity

Operations Management

Oversee daily salon operations to ensure efficiency and cleanliness
Manage inventory, product ordering, and retail displays
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and state board regulations
Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively

Sales & Performance

Drive retail and service sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
Monitor KPIs including productivity, ticket averages, and retention
Implement promotions and local marketing initiatives
Analyze financial reports and manage expenses responsibly

Customer Experience

Ensure every guest receives exceptional service
Maintain high standards for technical performance and salon presentation
Lead by example behind the chair when needed

Qualifications

Active cosmetology license (required)
10+ years of salon experience; prior management experience preferred but not required
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Proven ability to drive sales and meet performance goals
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Organized, reliable, and results-driven
