Tails in the Air is a professional pet relocation company specializing in safe, stress-free animal transport across the United States and internationally. We partner with families, airlines, and relocation specialists to ensure pets travel comfortably and arrive safely at their destination.
We are currently hiring Animal Transport Drivers in the Denver area to join our professional driver network. This role is perfect for individuals with animal handling experience who are looking for flexible, on-demand driving work and supplemental income. What You'll Do
As an Animal Transport Driver, you will:
· Safely transport dogs, cats, and other small animals between homes, airports, veterinary clinics, and other locations
· Assist with airport pet check-in and cargo procedures
· Ensure pets are secure, calm, and comfortable during transport
· Verify kennels, identification, and required travel documentation
· Communicate clearly with our transport coordinators and follow time-sensitive schedules
· Provide professional, compassionate care while handling animals and interacting with clients
Requirements
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Reliable personal vehicle (prefer one that can transport multiple animal kennels if possible)
· Ability to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
· Hands-on experience with animals (pet care facilities, vet clinics, shelters, grooming, training, etc.)
· Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
· Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs (pet kennels)
· Strong punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
· Smartphone with GPS/navigation and communication capability
