Full Job Description

SQF Practitioner – Bakery Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced SQF Practitioner to join our bakery manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety systems, SQF certification, and audit leadership within a bakery manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and continuously improve the SQF Food Safety & Quality System.
Prepare for and lead SQF certification, customer, and regulatory audits.
Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and company standards.
Develop, maintain, and update food safety documentation.
Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Quality teams.
Train employees on food safety and quality programs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing (bakery experience preferred).
Documented experience leading at least three (3) SQF certification inspections.
Current SQF Practitioner Certification.
Current HACCP Certification.
Current PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) Certification.
Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and food safety systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish.
