Full Job Description

We are an oral surgery practice in the Bay Area trusted by dentists and loved by patients.

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and responsible Treatment Coordinator to join our Fremont Oral Surgery Family. A great candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.

Our core mission is to provide the best patient experience possible and build trusting relationships. In aligning with the core mission, the patient success coordinator's primary function is to help onboard patients efficiently by gathering the necessary information required for treatment.

Primary Role & Responsibilities

Create and present treatment plans to patients, including EOB explanations and answer patient questions regarding treatments and insurance copays
Conduct phone, email, and written follow-ups for patient inquiries and unscheduled treatments
Prepare and maintain accurate patient charts for insurance processing
Generate reports and manage scheduling for pending or overdue treatments
Greet patients and parents at check-in and provide front-desk support
Verify and update patient information while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Process payments and balance daily payment logs
Communicate patient status with the clinical team and family members

Skills & Experience

Strong professional communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Proficient in computer applications; quick to learn new software
Preferred: 2+ years of dental office experience
Experience with dental insurance, practice management software, and spreadsheets a plus
