Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients and healthcare professionals in various settings, including hospitals, hospice care, and pediatric units. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with daily activities and medical needs.

Job Summary
Join our dedicated caregiving team as a CAREGIVER in Kerman, providing compassionate, high-quality care across all shifts. In this vital role, you will support residents with their daily needs, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life in a warm and respectful environment. Your energy and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they feel safe, cared for, and valued every day.

Regulatory Compliance & Resident Rights

Comply with California Title 22 regulations governing resident care and supervision.
Protect resident rights, privacy, and dignity at all times.
Participate in Community Care Licensing (CCL) inspections as required.
Comply with mandated reporter laws for suspected abuse or neglect.

Direct Resident Care Duties & Responsibilities

Assist residents with:
- Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene- Dressing and toileting- Mobility and transfers- Eating and hydration- Incontinence care- Positioning and comfort measures
Observe and report changes in resident condition to supervisors.Medication Assistance Support
Assist medication technicians as permitted by training and facility policy.
Never administer medications unless properly trained and authorized.

Documentation & Communication

Document care provided per facility procedures.
Communicate resident needs to nursing and management staff.
Participate in care conferences/Trainings as requested.

Health, Safety & WVPP Compliance

Follow infection control procedures.
Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
Comply with the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP).
Report hazards, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Housekeeping & Support Services

Maintain resident room cleanliness and safety.
Assist with laundry and light housekeeping tasks outlined in shift checklists.
Support meal service and hydration programs.

Quality Assurance

Participate in QAPI initiatives.
Support facility quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of RCFE caregiver training as required by Title 22.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Compassionate and dependable.

Physical & Working Conditions

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
May require overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts.
Facility-based environment.

Confidentiality & Mandatory Reporting

Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
Comply with mandated reporter laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
