Full Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Field Account Manager (FAM) plays a vital role in managing the full sales cycle for Camarena Health’s Occupational Health services from identifying new opportunities to securing service agreements and supporting onboarding. The FAM is responsible for building long-term relationships with clients and providing customized, value-based solutions. This role works closely with a Lead Development Representative and internal teams to ensure a high-quality, seamless client experience from initial contact through implementation.

EXPECTATIONS:

Arrives on time and adheres to assigned schedule.
Builds and maintains strong, trustworthy relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Maintains accurate client records and communication logs in the CRM system.
Demonstrates a consultative approach to sales by identifying and addressing client needs.
Represents Camarena Health with professionalism and respect in all interactions.
Maintains knowledge of service offerings, market trends, and client industries.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES

1.0 Focus on Sales Strategy and Client Engagement:

1.1 Assesses client needs and identifies opportunities for service alignment.

1.2 Develops customized, value-based proposals and solutions.

1.3 Researches and maps client organizations to identify key decision-makers.

1.4 Conducts in-person and virtual meetings using tools such as Zoom.

1.5 Partners with Sales Leadership to develop and implement strategic closing plans.

1.6 Secures agreements for Camarena Occupational Health services.

2.0 Focus on Internal Collaboration and Handoff:

2.1 Coordinates onboarding and ensures smooth transition to implementation teams.

2.2 Collaborates with cross-functional teams on complex or multi-faceted client needs.

2.3 Supports internal planning meetings and client handoff discussions.

2.4 Acts as a liaison between clients and internal departments for continuity of service.

3.0 Focus on CRM, Reporting, and Market Awareness:

3.1 Maintains accurate documentation and updates CRM for forecasting and tracking.

3.2 Monitors competitive landscape and reports on emerging trends in the assigned territory.

3.3 Provides leadership with updates on pipeline activity, client feedback, and overall performance.

3.4 Participates in sales meetings, reviews, and training sessions to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

4.0 Focus on Organizational Standards and Mission Alignment:

4.1 Demonstrates awareness of and alignment with Camarena Health’s mission and goal.

4.2 Maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards.

4.3 Upholds professional conduct, ethical behavior, and client service standards at all times.

4.4 Performs other duties as assigned by the Center Operations Director or designee.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (1 year of sales experience = 1 year of education).

Prior Experience:

Demonstrated success in client relationship building and closing sales

Skills:

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and virtual meeting tools

· Skilled in solution-based and value-selling methodologies

· Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving abilities

· Understanding of HIPAA and PHI compliance

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

· Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds (on wheels).
Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.
Must be able to have vision that is adequate to read memos, a computer screen, personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.
Must have average manual dexterity.
Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouching, reaching, kneeling, twisting/turning, fingering and feeling.
