Full Job Description

Brief Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance, consistency, and excellence in service delivery across all regions. Carry out responsibilities in functional areas, such as, Safety, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, and HR Operations.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement employee policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
Advise team members and management personnel on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs, and procedures
Manage employee benefits including communication, coordination and processing of annual open enrollment activities and conducting benefit orientation for newly eligible employees
Manage employee semi-monthly payroll including communication, coordination and processing of annual reporting
Develop and implement national HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Serve as a partner to executive leadership
Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Establish and monitor HR KPIs and metrics to drive performance and accountability.
Ensure consistency in HR policies and procedures across all locations.
Maintain and enhance HRIS systems and reporting structures.
Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting, analytics, and documentation.
Oversee internal audits and risk assessments.
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
3-5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including multi-site or national oversight.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources and risk management.
Ability to effectively analyze factors concerning risk, liability, safety and occupational hazards.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with directors, regional, branch and other managers.
Effectively communicate complex issues orally and in writing to employees and leaders at all levels.
Skill in providing relevant and meaningful deliverables to various parties which recognizes the individual needs of the various offices and departments.
Comprehensive knowledge of County, state and federal statutes, codes and regulations related to employment and employee relations.
Experience administering employee benefits, talent acquisition, job classification and compensation analysis.
Ability to make sound, independent judgments
Capacity and desire to expand knowledge of software capabilities
Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short and long term deadlines
Able to finish projects both quickly and accurately
Able to proactively seek out ways to improve upon existing methodologies
Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with employees, maintaining a warm and professional manner with a positive employee relations and customer service mindset

Preferred:

1. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
