Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant - General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for guests while fostering a motivated and skilled team. Your leadership will drive excellence in food service, customer satisfaction, staff development, and operational efficiency. Restaurant experience is mandatory.

Duties

Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive and motivated team.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards across all menu items.
Supervise kitchen management and food production activities to optimize efficiency and consistency.
Control inventory levels through accurate inventory management practices such as inventory control systems (e.g., Toast POS) to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
Implement and monitor POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting to streamline operations.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Oversee shift management to ensure proper staffing levels and smooth transitions between shifts.
Conduct staff training sessions focused on food handling, food safety protocols, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to enhance revenue streams.
Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.
Ensure compliance with health codes, safety regulations, and sanitation standards across the restaurant.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven restaurant management experience (5 year minimum); prior assistant manager or supervisory roles are highly valued.
Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations including food preparation techniques, kitchen management, POS systems (Toast POS), inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
Strong culinary background with experience in quick service and casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and develop talent within the team.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations; certification in food handling.
Experience supervising kitchen operations including food production and catering services; banquet experience is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills for shift management, budgeting, and operational planning.
