Full Job Description

Job Summary
Join our hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, the Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor is a member of the Front Office team, the central Hub of the Hotel. Responsibilities include: maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate great computer competency skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is a MUST.

THE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION IS 10:00PM-6:00AM

Duties

Manage nightly front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests with professionalism and warmth
Conduct nightly financial audits to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and accounting records
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone and in person, providing friendly assistance and resolving issues efficiently
Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of the property, and ensuring guest safety throughout the night
Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information as needed
Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and financial transactions for management review
Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems, processing payments, and managing guest accounts
Handling guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in a efficient and friendly manner; resolving customer complaints; assisting customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, sales, in-house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, safety boxes, etc.; canceling room reservations according to procedures; and any other duties, as assigned.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is highly preferred
Strong background in front desk duties, guest services, or night audit functions within a resort or hotel environment
Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency are advantageous for serving diverse guests effectively
Demonstrated customer service excellence with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including phone etiquette and guest interaction protocols
Experience working overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting is a plus
Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.

Guest service oriented demeanor is required. Candidate should be willing to go above and beyond for our guests and have a professional, positive attitude.
Excellent phone etiquette & computer literacy.
Ability to read & speak English.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Fosse Experience or related Hotel PMS Experience.
