Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part Time Assistant Medical Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the smooth operation of our medical practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure efficient clinic management, exceptional patient service, and compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a key role in overseeing daily office functions, assisting with fiscal management, and supervising staff to uphold the highest standards of medical office operations.

Duties

Assist in managing daily clinic operations, ensuring seamless coordination between clinical and administrative teams
Support fiscal management activities including budgeting, billing processes, and financial reporting using systems like eClinicalWorks
Supervise administrative staff, providing training and guidance on medical office procedures and compliance standards
Oversee medical records management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Coordinate with healthcare providers on scheduling, patient flow, and utilization management to optimize clinic efficiency
Assist in human resources functions such as onboarding new staff, managing timekeeping, and addressing employee concerns
Maintain proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to support clinical documentation and data accuracy

Skills

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Minimum 2 years managerial experience in a medical clinic setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
Proficiency in practice management software eClinicalWorks; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
Background in acute care and medical clinic setting is advantageous.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers, staff, patients, and external partners
