SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining and repairing all types of Fox Solutions equipment at the customer’s site. Ensure customer satisfaction by attending to customers’ needs as required. Provide training and support to employees of the customer.
ASSEMBLING FUNCTIONS
1. Knowledge of power tool use
2. Read cad sheets and BOM
3. Assemble according to schematic instructions
4. Basic electrical knowledge AC/DC, relays, switches, power supplies, breakers, VFD, contactors, motors
5. Basic knowledge of pneumatics
6. Basic knowledge of troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical problems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.Assemble, install equipment on-site at the customers’ facilities according to blueprints and schematics. Verify the equipment is functioning properly according to specifications using diagnostic or measurement tools. Provide training to operators. Maintain records of installations.
2.Test, troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment at the customers’ facilities using tools, machines or hands. Perform repairs as needed. Maintain records of service calls.
3.Provide service to customers. Answer customers' questions about equipment. Attend to the needs of the customer whenever required. Actively look for ways to help Fox Solutions customers.
4.Will assist with building prototypes and testing products.
5.Practice personal safety and follow all area safety practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Manager.
6.Ensure working environment is clean and safe. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned determines methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operates within specific policy guidelines. Requires knowledge of and compliance with Fox Solutions policies and procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires knowledge of industrial mechanic, hydraulic, pneumatic, boiler, and electrical processes. Requires knowledge and experience with high and low voltage, AC/DC drives, PLC/VFD controls, resolvers, sensors, stepper motors, and temperature controls. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, relay logic, and electronic equipment is preferred. Requires being proficient in the use of a multi meter and other diagnostic or measurement equipment necessary to measure precision parts. Requires intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
NECESSARY SKILLS
This job requires knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Job requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise); giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Employee must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Employee must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a cooperative attitude. Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. Job requires being reliable, respectful, responsible and dependable.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language. (Bilingual Preffered) Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to communicate information and ideas, in speaking, so others will understand. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively present information by telephone, e-mail, in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization or customers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Well-lighted, heated but not climate controlled indoor shop environment/production setting with adequate ventilation.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee will work in extreme heat in the summer and cold in the winter. The employee will be exposed to dust particles, fumes and vibration. The employee will be working around moving mechanical machinery. Job requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.

This job requires moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate a vehicle, stand, bend, lift and carry material up to 50 lbs. Job requires repeating the same physical activities over and over. The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers and perceive the attributes of objects and materials. The employee is required to move hands, hands together with arms, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or position objects. The employee must bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs. The employee is required to time movements or the movement of a piece of equipment in anticipation of changes in the speed and/or direction of a moving object. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into focus.
WORK SCHEDULES/HOURS
Normal work week is 40 hours, Monday – Friday. The pay week is Bi-Weekly. Employees may be required to work overtime, weekends and/or to alter daily schedule to meet the needs of the business.
