The Role
We are seeking an elite, results-driven Commission-Only Sales Representative with an extensive, proven track record in the office supplies industry. While you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule, this is a highly active field role requiring regular in-person visits to local companies, distributors, and buyers within your territory. Your primary objective will be to leverage your existing book of business to open new accounts, drive B2B sales, and build lasting, face-to-face relationships with retailers, wholesalers, corporate buyers, and educational institutions. Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales & Business Development: Actively travel within your designated local territory to conduct face-to-face meetings, pitch products, and close new B2B sales opportunities targeting office supply distributors, big-box retailers, corporate procurement teams, and educational facilities.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular in-person visits, ensuring high customer satisfaction and generating repeat business.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on Acrimet’s product catalog to effectively showcase our value proposition in person—specifically our unmatched durability, anti-slip designs, and high-quality materials.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic field sales plan to hit target metrics and rapidly expand Acrimet’s market share using your existing network.
- Market Feedback: Act as the eyes and ears of the market on the ground, providing valuable feedback to leadership regarding trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive Experience: A highly proven track record with 5+ years of senior-level B2B sales experience, specifically within the office supplies or stationery industry.
- Key Industry Connections: Mandatory: You must possess an established, active book of business and direct, pre-existing connections with key office supply buyers, distributors, or corporate procurement managers in your territory.
- In-Person Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel locally on a regular basis to conduct face-to-face client meetings, presentations, and site visits. Reliable transportation is required.
- Drive: Exceptional self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset. You thrive in a 100% commission-based environment and are driven by uncapped earning potential.
- Communication: Exceptional face-to-face presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously, manage a rigorous field-sales pipeline, and drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
