Do you love working with kids and love technology? Are you great at multitasking? And are excited at the prospect of learning new things? This position offers you the chance to impact kids’ lives in a fun and enriching way! Join a passionate, dedicated, creative, and collaborative team here at Code Wiz as we help kids unlock their inner genius!

We offer tons of engaging and exciting tech-based programs for kids and teens ages 7 – 17. We love helping them unleash their creativity as they create games, videos, build robots, 3D designs, and more, and have a blast while learning valuable life skills. The kids learn and use technology like Scratch, We do Robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, Java, Python, HTML, Arduino, Mindstorms, Unity, and more! We offer after-school classes, vacation sessions, birthday parties, competitions, and summer camps!

We are looking for a Coaches to inspire our kids!

Coaches are the reason a student will continue to come back and sign up for more classes and camps. Coaches will always be mindful of each student making sure they are actually participating and learning. Coaches don’t just teach, but they have the students talk it back to you to make sure they understand the process as well and can relay it to their parents.

Required Skills and Experience:

Love working with kids
Excited about technology and very willing to jump into and learn new things
Exceptional organizational and verbal/written communication skills demonstrated in prior work
Friendly, warm, upbeat, and understanding demeanor in person and on the phone
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a timely fashion
Ability to work independently and problem solve effectively with attention to detail
Experience working in an educational or camp setting is highly recommended
Experience with coding, robotics, or other technology is an added advantage

What we are needing / availability:

Ability to work off site; and at a montessori/elementary school with school aged kids
Having knowledge in teaching Robotics (lego), Scratch coding, Minecraft / Roblox coding
Working hours will be at the moment (subject to change) Wednesday - 3:45 - 7:00pm; Saturday - 9:30am - 12:00pm.
Being able to keep kids engaged and learning
Able to interact with each student
Making the the enviroment fun and exciting for the kids that they would want to come back every week to class
Having lots of energy in every class
If you need to be trained on the material then pay will be from $12-$14 an hour based on experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Plano, TX 75024 (Preferred)
