Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to contribute to a vibrant workplace environment. You will handle a variety of tasks that keep our office running efficiently while maintaining precise financial records. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in both bookkeeping and administrative functions within a supportive team.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll.
Maintain accurate financial records through diligent data entry and file management
Provide front desk support by greeting visitors, managing appointments, and answering inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
Assist with office management tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining supplies
Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to client questions and providing support via phone or email
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and mailing

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and financial record keeping
Strong computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
Experience with office management procedures, including filing systems and supply inventory control
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy for data entry and document preparation
Bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse clients or team members
Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in Towing Transportation Industry
Technical proficiency in productivity software combined with strong proofreading skills
