ABOUT CREEKSTONE ENERGY
Creekstone Energy is developing one of the most significant energy and data center projects in the United States — a large-scale gigasite in Utah. We sit at the intersection of energy infrastructure, AI computing demand, and the global race for technological dominance. We move fast, think big, and believe the work we're doing matters.
We're a startup. That means priorities shift, strategies evolve, and occasionally work you've spent weeks on gets deprioritized because the company is moving in a different direction. If that sounds frustrating, this isn't the right fit. If that sounds like how real things get built — keep reading.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a sharp, resourceful Executive Assistant to support our leadership team across 1–2 executives. This is a full-time contractor role based in Utah, hybrid with occasional in-person availability in the SLC area (office visits, meals, local errands, etc.).
You'll own scheduling, contracts, emails, and files. You'll also be asked to think, not just execute. We want someone who brings solutions, not just questions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contract & Legal Support — Draft, review, and redline NDAs and contracts. Pull together clean documents quickly. Paralegal-level attention to detail required.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management — Own all scheduling for leadership. Coordinate across time zones, protect focused work time, and handle last-minute changes without drama.
- Email Management — Triage and prioritize a high-volume inbox. Draft responses. Know what needs to go to the top of the pile and what can wait.
- File Organization — Build and maintain a clean filing system in Box.com and Google Drive. Documents should be named, organized, and findable in under 30 seconds.
- Project & Task Tracking — Keep things moving in Asana and Notion. Log tasks, update statuses, and surface blockers before they become problems.
- AI-Assisted Work — Use Claude (AI) daily to draft documents, summarize content, and work faster. This isn't optional — AI fluency is core to how we operate.
- In-Person Support (Occasional) — When leadership is in the SLC area, be available for in-person meetings, meals, or local errands as needed. Flexibility is key.
- General Executive Support — Anticipate needs, solve problems on the fly, and keep leadership focused on high-priority work.
MISSION ALIGNMENT — THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
We are building energy infrastructure and data center capacity at a time when the topic is genuinely polarizing. You will be exposed to conversations about energy development, AI's role in the global economy, data center expansion, and the policy battles that surround all of it. We need someone who is genuinely interested in this space — not indifferent to it, and not opposed to it.
If you're not excited about energy development, data centers, or why AI infrastructure matters right now, this isn't the right role. We don't expect you to be an expert. We do expect you to care.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Utah-based — must be available for occasional in-person meetings in the SLC area- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate (or in progress) — business, legal studies, communications preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative, paralegal, legal assistant, or executive support (internships and recent grads welcome)
- Strong written communication — polished, professional, and fast
- Experience with NDAs or contracts, or a strong legal foundation and willingness to learn
- Organized with a system-builder mindset — you create structure, not chaos
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)- Familiarity with Box.com or similar cloud file management
- Familiarity with Asana for task and project tracking
- Familiarity with Notion for documentation and knowledge management
- Already using Claude (Anthropic AI) regularly — not just aware of it
- Self-directed — you don't need daily check-ins or reassurance to stay on track
- Genuine interest in energy, data centers, technology infrastructure, or AI- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup where direction changes and that's okay
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience supporting C-suite executives or founders
- Background or coursework in energy, real estate, policy, or technology
- Experience building Notion knowledge bases from scratch
- Familiarity with energy development, permitting, or infrastructure projects
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF...
- You need a predictable environment where priorities don't change
- You require frequent check-ins or reassurance to feel confident
- You're uncomfortable with or opposed to energy development or data center expansion
- You're still figuring out AI tools — we need someone already using them- You're not able to be in the SLC area occasionally when needed
