Position Description:
Micro-Tech Endoscopy USA (MTU) is seeking a Product Manager to own and drive strategy for our growing General Endoscopy portfolio. Reporting to a Senior Director of Marketing, this role is ideal for a medical device professional with 5+ years of GI/catheter based medical product management experience, with real hands-on experience in early-stage development.
This role is focused on the front end of innovation. You will help identify unmet clinical needs, build the voice-of-customer foundation for new product development, and translate market insights into product requirements that will help guide our R&D pipeline.
You will partner with clinicians and internal development teams, ensuring that products are grounded in clinical value and positioned for commercial success.
We are a small, rapidly scaling organization, and we value people who take initiative, move quickly, and follow through. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable managing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality. You bring professionalism, curiosity, and a genuine passion for serving customers and advancing GI innovation.
This is a remote position with up to 40% travel, both domestic and international; proximity to a major airport is a plus. If you are motivated by ownership, impact, and growth—and want to help shape the future of GI Endoscopy, Micro-Tech Endoscopy is the place for you.
Responsibilities:
Voice of Customer & Market Intelligence
- You will be responsible for KOL engagement — advisory boards, innovation center visits, pre-clinical labs, and field interactions — to capture clinical insights
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities, portfolio gaps, and shifts in clinical practice
- Synthesize customer feedback into recommendations for the franchise
New Product Development Leadership
- You will be strategically involved in the upstream product development process from opportunity identification through funded program initiation
- Author market requirements documents (MRDs) and product feature specifications that define clinical needs, target use cases, and performance criteria
- Aid in the prioritization process in development concepts and advance high-value ideas into funded programs
- Manage multiple concurrent development projects within cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Downstream Product Management & Marketing) based upon obtained clinical and commercial research.
Portfolio Strategy
- Maintain a strong innovation pipeline that balances near-term opportunities with longer-term strategic priorities
- Identify gaps in the current portfolio and recommend pathways — internal development or external partnership — to address them
- Ensure development priorities align with the company's growth objectives for the Americas
Cross-Functional & Commercial Partnership
- Work with R&D to clearly frame the clinical problem — who’s affected, what’s broken, and why it matters.
- Partner with Downstream Product Management to transition upstream work into launch-ready commercial assets
- Support regional marketing teams with market analysis, clinical positioning, and portfolio messaging as products approach commercialization
Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum 5 years’ clinical or lab experience with therapeutic GI endoscopy devices preferred
- Preference given to candidates with experience in gastroenterology focused on medical devices/products or with catheter-based technologies and image-guided procedures.
- Demonstrable ability to blend creative thinking, strategic ownership, innovative thinking, and pragmatic execution to drive results and find practical solutions.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to adapt communication style to accommodate diverse audiences.
