Full Job Description

About Us: ECS Environmental Solutions is a leading Air Pollution Control company specializing in vapor phase odor control/air pollution control systems. We are committed to innovation, customer satisfaction, and growth. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead and drive sales performance in our Eastern North American region in the Municipal market.

Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth within their assigned region. This role involves managing independent sales representatives, fostering strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional products and services.

Candidates need to reside in a state that is East of Mississippi to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

Implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Prepare budgetary and firm bid proposals within targeted timeframes so customer expectations are exceeded
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
Monitor and analyze regional sales performance, maintaining current and accurate sales information in the company CRM.

Team Leadership & Management

Manage a group of independent, third-party sales representatives and report their performance via the CRM.
Set performance goals for the sales rep network and provide regular feedback on opportunities within region.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong working relationships with independent sales representatives by making regular visits with each firm.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key engineers, owners, and contractors by attending regional tradeshows, events, etc.
Address and resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Market Analysis & Reporting

Analyze market conditions and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats and provide updates during weekly sales meetings.
Prepare and present weekly sales reports and project updates to senior management.
Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and performance metrics.

Collaboration & Coordination

Coordinate with other regional managers to share best practices and drive overall sales strategy.
Lead Project Launch/Handover meetings with internal Engineering and Production teams to transfer information on projects sold.
Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with potential customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as required within the region.
