Provide administrative, financial, and clerical support to the organization. This role includes controlling expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices in a timely, accurate and efficient manner according to established policies and procedures.

Key Job Elements

Perform data entry of Accounts Payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner;
Process all invoices received within 48 hours of receipt utilizing basic problem-solving skills (purchase order research);
Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate record keeping and problem solve any issues;
Ensure compliance with departmental standards (processing/ scanning goals);
Follow established Accounting policies & procedures;
Scan AP documents for indexing into imaging system;
Gather and report accrual data;
Ensure data entry is up to date in order to meet month end deadlines;
Balancing Time/Labor Cards or Factory Track Reports to match Payroll;
Other administrative duties as needed.

Education / Training

High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate degree or higher level of education preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology;
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction;
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
