In this high-impact position, you will take ownership of detailing projects from initial design through to delivery. Working closely with customers, design engineers, and production teams, you will be responsible for reviewing drawings, verifying layouts, managing Bills of Materials, coordinating design revisions, and ensuring every project is delivered to the highest technical and manufacturing standards.
This role would suit a Detailer or Designer from the utility, transmission, or distribution background, looking to enjoy the flexibility of a remote role whilst having full ownership of projects and the opportunity to progress into a senior-level engineer.
The Role:

Manage the detailing of utility pole and steel structure projects.

Review drawings, Bills of Materials and design layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and PLS-Pole (full training provided on PLS-Pole).

Work with customers, engineers and production teams to coordinate design changes and ensure manufacturability.
The Candidate:

Experience in detailing, drafting or CAD design within utility structures or structural steel.

Experience reading blueprints, Bills of Materials and fabrication drawings.

Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
