Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assembler / Fabricator to join our team. The candidate will have a strong background in various fabrication processes and techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in fabrication and assembly tasks. The Fabricator will work on diverse fire truck projects, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components.
Perform various welding techniques, however most fabrication is now bolt and huck fastening at our facility.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Conduct measurements to ensure precision in fabrication.
Assemble fabricated components into final products while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
Utilize mechanical knowledge for tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

Construction site experience is highly desirable.
Proficient in general welding practices.
Familiarity with operating machinery and forklifts safely.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Competence in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
