Overview:

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at IST Management Services in Glendale, CA! Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations, customer service, and a desire to grow their professional career in business services. We are committed to both excellence for our clients and upward mobility for our employees.

Hourly Compensation: $18.00-$18.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities:

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing and delivering mail and packages.

Shipping and Receiving Services – Receive and send overnight packages
Customer Service - Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
Mail Operations - Sort incoming mail and handle according to established procedures
Adhere to all safety procedures
Take direction from the site manager and the assistant site manager
Participate in cross-training
Perform other tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations and customer service.

Valid Driver's License required
Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus
High school diploma or GED
Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
Ability to lift up to 55lbs
