Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Grill Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and following percise recipes. This role requires collaboration with multiple FOH and BOH staff

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods according to established recipes.
Prepare dressings, vinaigrettes, salas, hummus, guacamole, cut veggies according to established recipes.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of grilling supplies and communicate needs to the manager.
Help train new kitchen staff when needed.
Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Grill Cook/Prep Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Established knife skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with using and following percise recipes.
A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
