Full Job Description

6 months + W2 contract for a Field based Fiber Construction Coordinator with a Fiber/Telecom background in Austin, TX market

Will involve travel locally

**Please note Glotel runs a weekly payroll which is 2 weeks in arrears. This means your first paycheck (one week of pay and expenses if applicable) will be received on the Friday of the third week onsite**

The successful Field Construction Coordinator will be tasked with the following:

Travel locally to commercial Fiber construction and rebuild/upgrade projects
Coordinate construction efforts with in house and external teams
Generate quotes in the field for voice, video and data projects
Ensure correct placement of bores
Draw and sketch install and locations of cables, power and amplifiers
Maintain inventory for maintenance and construction
Perform quality checks on work
Communicate with business owners, developers and customers on project status
Other tasks as required

The ideal Field Construction Coordinator will be able to prove the following:

Strong OSP / Fiber or Telecom background
Proven ability to coordinate Fiber construction
Ability to draw and sketch install locations
Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to pass background check and MVR
Willingness to travel to the field every day locally and regionally when required

This role is 100% in the field. You will report to the first site at 8am central and check in with a text, then check out at the final site at 5pm central and check out by text. This is a role with heavy expectations for communications, initiative on knowing where to go and dealing with time sensitive requests. Please confirm you can work on this basis
