We are hiring passionate, dependable, high-performing individuals to join our delivery and installation team as Delivery Helpers.
This is an entry-level opportunity, but it is not an easy job and it is not a position where employees can coast. This is a performance role meant to reward high performers and encourage effort and customer service.
This is a physically demanding, customer-facing, performance-based role. Your earnings, advancement opportunities, and continued success on the team will be directly connected to your effort, attitude, execution, reliability, and customer service.

Previous appliance delivery experience is not required. In fact, we prefer to train the right person from the ground up with no experience.

The Role: Delivery Helper
Delivery Helpers work alongside experienced Neu Delivery Pros to complete residential appliance deliveries and installations.
This is not a driving position. Your primary responsibility is to support the delivery team while learning Neu’s installation processes, safety standards, and customer-service expectations.
You will:
- Load and unload residential appliances
- Safely move appliances using professional equipment
- Help protect floors, walls, doors, and customer property
- Assist with appliance installations and connections
- Use basic hand tools and installation equipment
- Help level and position appliances properly
- Assist with operational testing after installation
- Take required photos and complete delivery documentation
- Remove packaging and maintain a clean work area
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow Neu’s safety, quality-control, and installation procedures
- Help keep delivery vehicles, tools, and equipment organized
- Participate in hands-on training and team meetings
Delivery Helpers are not expected to begin as appliance experts.
They are expected to arrive on time, work with urgency, stay engaged, accept coaching, and improve consistently.
Compensation and Performance Pay
Base Pay: $16 per hour + Weekly Performance Pay + Tips
In addition to hourly pay, team members can earn:
- Weekly performance pay
- Customer tips

- Additional earning opportunities based on execution and results
Successful team members typically average $19–$23 per hour in total compensation, depending on performance and tips.
This is not guaranteed pay. It is earned through performance.
Employees who consistently execute Neu’s delivery process, provide excellent customer service, protect customer property, complete accurate documentation, and help generate five-star experiences will have the greatest earning potential.

Training and Development
No appliance delivery or installation experience is required.
We provide hands-on training from the ground up, including:
- Safe appliance-moving techniques
- Proper use of appliance dollies and moving equipment
- Home and property protection
- Basic appliance installation
- Water, electrical, venting, and gas-connection awareness
- Appliance leveling and positioning
- Functional testing procedures
- Delivery documentation and photo requirements
- Customer communication
- Problem-solving in the field
- Neu’s quality-control and safety standards
You will begin by supporting experienced team members and will take on additional responsibility as your skills and performance improve.
Advancement is based on readiness and results—not simply time in the position.

Experience in moving, construction, maintenance, furniture delivery, warehouse operations, mechanical work, landscaping, or other hands-on jobs can be helpful—but it is not required.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift at least 50 pounds independently
- Help move appliances weighing more than 100 pounds using proper equipment
- Work on their feet for extended periods
- Bend, lift, push, pull, climb stairs, and work in tight spaces
- Work indoors and outdoors in Central Texas weather
- Safely handle refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and other appliances
