Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Server - On Call, where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this lively role, you will provide exceptional food and beverage service during various events, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help elevate every event to a celebration.

Duties

Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously at banquets, receptions, and special events, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service stations.
Assist with food preparation and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and appearance.
Buss tables promptly by clearing dishes, glassware, and silverware to maintain a clean dining area.
Provide knowledgeable beverage service, including pouring wine and handling drink orders with precision.
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and food safety regulations throughout service.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly desirable; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus.
Strong guest services skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, beverage service, and basic math for accurate bill calculation.
Familiarity with wine knowledge and drink service etiquette enhances guest experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success.
Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
