Kitchen Manager — Terminal 26

Location: Ponce City Market, Atlanta, GA Compensation: $60,000–$80,000/year, DOE Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us

Terminal 26 is part of 26 Hospitality Group, an Atlanta-based multi-concept restaurant group. Located at Ponce City Market, Terminal 26 brings a tapas-style dining experience to one of Atlanta's most iconic culinary destinations — high volume, high energy, and high standards. We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who can lead the back of house with precision and pride.

The Role

As Kitchen Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen — from food quality and consistency to safety, cost control, and team leadership. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and culinary leadership to keep BOH running efficiently during high-volume service in a busy market setting.

What You'll Do

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, plating, and execution across the tapas-style menu
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop line cooks, prep cooks, and dish staff
Manage food cost, labor cost, and waste control within budget targets
Maintain compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and HACCP protocols
Coordinate with the commissary kitchen on inventory, ordering, and product distribution
Enforce proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures across all stations
Monitor ticket times and kitchen flow during peak service to ensure smooth execution
Conduct regular line checks and hold staff accountable to recipe and presentation standards
Support new menu rollouts, seasonal specials, and private dining/catering prep
Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs/maintenance as needed

What We're Looking For

2+ years of kitchen management or sous chef experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure
Solid understanding of food cost, inventory, and kitchen P&L management
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
A hands-on leadership style — comfortable on the line during a rush
